1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QR Engine ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QR Engine is an online QR code generator that allows users to create, customize, and share QR codes. The Service is available on a free plan with daily limits and a paid Pro plan with unlimited access.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may not use another person's account without permission.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate QR codes linking to illegal, harmful, or malicious content
  • Distribute malware, phishing links, or fraudulent content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Service

5. Free Plan Limits

Free plan users are limited to 10 QR code exports per calendar day. Limits reset daily. Exceeding limits requires upgrading to the Pro plan.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

  • Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly at $5/month.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months.

7. Intellectual Property

The QR Engine name, logo, and interface are owned by QR Engine. QR codes you generate belong to you. We do not claim ownership over your content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

QR Engine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new terms.
